Terms and conditions
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms apply to applications for the UK Education Fair 2026 held on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Sandhesh Hall, Savera Hotel, 146 Dr Radhakrishnan Salai, Mylapore, Chennai 600004 (“the fair”), organised by Think Study Education Services Pvt Ltd (“Think Study”, “we”, “us”) together with Edvoy. By paying the ₹499 application fee you agree to these terms. They explain in plain words what every claim on the fair page means: the offer assurance, the 24-hour offer letter, the free IELTS coaching, the air tickets, the visa guidance and the ₹80,000 of benefits. Please read them with our privacy policy.
1. Applying for a seat
Your ₹499 application buys a priority one-to-one slot for one student (plus accompanying parents or guardians) with participating universities at the fair, and the attendee benefits described in sections 5 to 8. Applications are confirmed by the application reference shown on screen and by email. Slots are limited and allocated in the order applications are received. Applications close on Friday, 9 October, 6 PM. After that, walk-in visitors are welcome subject to space, and paid applicants are seen first. We may ask you to show your application reference and a photo ID at the venue. If the student is under 18, a parent or guardian must make the application.
2. The ₹499 application fee
The application fee is ₹499 inclusive of taxes, payable online through Razorpay. Think Study’s usual application service fee is ₹5,000; ₹499 is the fair-only price for students who apply through this page. The fee is not a charge for admission to the venue. It secures your one-to-one slot and the benefits in these terms.
Adjustment. The full ₹499 is credited against Think Study’s application service fee when you enrol at a university through Think Study. Nothing further is charged for the application itself.
Eligibility check. Please read the minimum requirements in section 3 before you pay. The fee is not refunded because you do not meet them; a counsellor can confirm your eligibility by phone before you apply.
Refunds. The fee is refunded in full in the following cases:
- Cancelled or rescheduled fair. If we cancel the fair, or move it to another date or venue and you cannot attend, we refund the fee in full.
- Change of mind. If you decide not to attend, email contactus@thinkstudy.co.in or call +91 90251 86185 with your application reference at least 48 hours before the fair starts and we refund the fee in full.
- No offer made. If you are eligible, attend with complete documents and no participating university makes you an offer, we refund the fee in full under the offer assurance in section 3.
- No-shows. No refund is given if you do not attend and did not tell us at least 48 hours before the fair.
Refunds go back to the card, UPI account or bank account you paid from. We instruct Razorpay within 7 to 10 working days of the refund being agreed; your bank may take a further 5 to 7 working days to show the credit. We cannot pay refunds in cash or to a different account.
3. Eligibility and the offer assurance
The fair page says “100% offer assurance if you’re eligible”. This section defines both words. The minimum requirements to apply are:
- For UG: passed Class 12 (approx. 60%+)
- For PG: a Bachelor's degree (approx. 50%+)
- Targeting the Jan 2027 or Sep 2027 UK intake
- Valid passport (or applied for one)
- IELTS not mandatory. Free coaching provided
- Genuine intent to study in the UK
You are eligible when you meet these requirements and bring complete documents to the fair: academic mark sheets, your degree or provisional certificate (for PG), your passport or passport application receipt, and English language test scores if you have any. A Think Study counsellor checks these when you arrive.
The offer assurance means this: an eligible applicant who attends the fair with complete documents will receive a conditional offer letter from at least one participating university, either on the spot or within 24 working hours of their session. If no participating university makes you an offer, we refund your ₹499 in full as set out in section 2.
The assurance is not a promise of an offer from any particular university or for any particular course. Each university decides whether to make an offer, and on what conditions, under its own admission rules. Your remedy if no offer is made is the refund above, and nothing more.
4. Offer letter within 24 hours
“24 hours” means 24 working hours counted from the end of your one-to-one session at the fair. Working hours exclude Sundays and public holidays in India and the United Kingdom, so an offer from a Saturday session may arrive on the Monday or Tuesday. The offer is conditional: the conditions (for example final results, an English test score or a deposit) are set by the university, not by us. Delays caused by university systems, incomplete documents or events outside our control do not entitle you to any payment beyond the refund in section 3.
5. Free IELTS coaching (list value ₹15,000)
Applicants who attend the fair may join Think Study’s IELTS preparation programme at no charge. The programme normally costs ₹15,000, which is the list value shown on the fair page. Classes are taught by British Council-certified tutors at Think Study centres in Chennai, Kochi and Rajahmundry and online, on schedules set by Think Study. Seats are subject to availability, and the offer must be taken up within six months of the fair. The IELTS examination fee itself is not included. This benefit cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Air tickets to the UK (up to ₹50,000)
Think Study will provide one economy-class air ticket from Chennai to the UK, up to a value of ₹50,000, to a fair applicant who meets all of the following conditions:
- You applied for and attended this fair.
- Your application and enrolment are processed through Think Study at a participating university for the intake discussed at the fair.
- Your UK Student visa has been granted and the university’s tuition deposit is paid.
- You provide your travel details at least 21 days before departure. The ticket is booked by Think Study on a route, airline and date agreed with you.
The ticket is not exchangeable for cash, cannot be transferred to another person, and is not available for enrolments made directly with a university or through another agency. Any fare above ₹50,000, baggage, insurance and changes are payable by you. If you withdraw from the course or your enrolment is cancelled before travel, the benefit lapses.
7. Free visa guidance (list value ₹15,000)
Applicants who enrol through Think Study receive guidance and document preparation for the UK Student visa at no charge, from the first checklist to the decision. Think Study normally charges ₹15,000 for this service, which is the list value shown on the fair page. The benefit covers our counselling and preparation work only. UK Visas and Immigration application fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge, biometric and courier charges, and any financial evidence you must show are not included. The visa decision is made by UK Visas and Immigration and is not guaranteed by us.
8. The ₹80,000 benefit value
“Benefits worth ₹80,000” and “you save up to ₹80,000” are the sum of the list values in sections 5, 6 and 7: ₹15,000 for IELTS coaching, up to ₹50,000 for the air ticket and ₹15,000 for visa guidance. The air ticket is a maximum, so the value you receive may be less than ₹80,000. These benefits are available only to applicants who applied at this fair on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Savera Hotel, Chennai and who enrol through Think Study. They are not available online, after the fair, or for enrolments made directly with a university or through another agency. Each benefit is subject to its own conditions above. There is no cash alternative.
9. Universities attending
We expect representatives from 14+ UK universities to attend. The universities shown on the fair page are those confirmed at the time of publication. Participation may change for reasons outside our control, and the final list is shared with confirmed applicants by email before the fair. A change in the list of universities is not a cancellation of the fair and does not by itself entitle you to a refund, unless no participating university makes you an offer (section 3).
10. No guarantee of admission or visa
Admission decisions are made by universities and visa decisions by UK Visas and Immigration. A conditional offer letter is not an admission until its conditions are met. Nothing on the fair page, at the fair, or in our communications is a promise or guarantee that you will be admitted to any course or granted a visa. Think Study provides counselling, application and visa support services only.
11. Changes to the fair
We may change the venue, date, timings or programme of the fair. We will inform applicants by email and by call or WhatsApp as early as we can. If we cancel the fair, or move it to another date or venue and you cannot attend, section 2 gives you a full refund.
12. Conduct at the venue
Please arrive 15 minutes before your session with your documents. We may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if their behaviour disrupts the event or other attendees; no refund is given in that case. Photography and video may be taken at the fair for Think Study’s promotional use; tell a staff member on the day if you do not wish to be photographed.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the fair and these terms is limited to the application fee you paid. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur to attend, or for decisions made by universities or government bodies.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
