Privacy policy

This policy explains what Think Study Education Services Pvt Ltd (“Think Study”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use this website to apply for the UK Education Fair 2026, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). Our terms and conditions cover the application fee and the fair itself.

What we collect

When you apply we ask for:

  • Your name, mobile number and email address. All three are required.
  • Whether you are applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course, and your preferred intake.
  • The consent box you ticked, the time you ticked it, and the version of the consent wording.
  • Your ₹499 application fee is processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and an order reference only. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

We also collect some information automatically: the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from (UTM tags and a Meta click identifier), your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view on this site.

Why we collect it

  • To process your application and your application fee.
  • To confirm your application by email and to send reminders and fair details by call, WhatsApp or email.
  • To plan one-to-one sessions with the universities that match your level and intake.
  • To follow up before and after the fair about our study-abroad services, including counselling, applications, IELTS coaching, visa and loan support.
  • To measure which campaigns bring people to the fair and to improve this site.
  • To process refunds and to keep the records the law requires.

Lawful basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the single consent box on the application form. It is not pre-ticked. By ticking it you agree that Think Study and Edvoy may contact you by call, WhatsApp or email about your application and the fair, and process your details as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing contactus@thinkstudy.co.in, calling +91 90251 86185, or replying STOP to any message. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it, and we may keep limited records where the law requires us to, for example payment and refund records.

Who we share it with

  • Participating universities, so that they can prepare for your session and, if you ask them to, assess your profile for an offer.
  • Edvoy, our co-organiser for this fair, for the purpose of running the event and following up on the universities you met. Edvoy uses the data under its own privacy policy.
  • Service providers who process data on our instructions:
    • Razorpay, which processes your payment and any refund.
    • Google, which stores applications in Google Sheets and provides the venue map.
    • Meta, for advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel in your browser and the Meta Conversions API from our server. Through the Conversions API we send Meta a hashed form of your email address and phone number, together with the event (for example that an application was completed), so that Meta can match the conversion to the ad you saw. Meta cannot read the hashed values back into your email or number; it can only compare them with hashes it already holds.
    • Our email delivery provider, which sends your confirmation email.
    • Our hosting provider, which runs this site.
  • Authorities, where a law or court order requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and Meta Pixel

This site uses the Meta Pixel and similar analytics tags to understand which ads and posts lead to applications and to show relevant ads to people who visited this page. These tools set cookies and may collect your IP address, device information and the actions you take on the site. When you apply, our server also reports the same events to Meta through the Conversions API, using hashed identifiers (your email address and phone number) for matching, as described above. You can limit the browser-side tracking through your browser’s cookie settings, Meta’s ad preferences, or an ad blocker. To opt out of the server-side reporting as well, tell us when you apply or withdraw consent as set out under “Lawful basis”. The site works without these cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep application data for 24 months from the date of the fair, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless you have become a Think Study client, in which case it forms part of your client file, or a longer period is required by law (for example payment and refund records under tax rules).

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or update it, to erase it, and to withdraw your consent to further contact. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To make a request, email contactus@thinkstudy.co.in from the address you applied with, or call +91 90251 86185 and quote your application reference. We respond within 30 days. If you withdraw consent, we stop contacting you about the fair and our services; you may still attend if your application is confirmed.

Children

The fair is intended for students aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should make the application and give consent on your behalf.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us at once if you believe your data has been misused.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
